Education

We work with girls and boys in rural communities of Africa to make sure they are able to learn the skills and gain the knowledge that will help them break out of the cycle of poverty and secure their future.

  • Support for the development and research in applicant countries and promoting research;
  • Internal research program implementation.

We set ourselves the goal of Basic Education for All.

As we can know, educational levels in many developing countries have climbed up dramatically so that the percentage of adult illiterates in the world has declined steadily.

As the explosive innovation of technology has brought new learning opportunities to millions. Our organisation has reached a new level of capacity-building in order to stand in our work to attain basic education for all.

According to some estimates A quarter of a billion children work, in often hazardous or unhealthy conditions , more than 110 million school-age children are not attending school

Also 880 million adults world wide are still illiterate, most of them women.

All these millions children are not only being denied something many of us take for granted but they are being denied a fundamental human right spelt out in international instruments their Governments have signed on to among them the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child: the right to education.

What is more, the communities where these children live are denied a future labour force of healthy, literate and employable citizens.
